Rules
Try to keep the song length at a maximum of 5 minutes. There are no restrictions on how you can transform the demos but:
a.) Your submission must be your own creation -- royalty free/Creative Commons samples are allowed. Please check the source's specific usage rights. If you are unsure about the usage rights, please check with mods/organizers.
b.) If you are collaborating with others or are using takes other people have recorded for wider use, please credit everyone involved in the filename of the track. Filename attribution is not necessary for smaller things like autotuning vocals or mastering.
c.) Each person can submit a maximum of 3 songs. They may however, be a featured artist on as many songs as they like.
d.) Absolutely no use of generative AI tools for the album art, vocals, or music is allowed. Non-generative vocaloids are permitted. If you are not sure if a tool you want to use falls under this category, please check with a mod/organizer.
e.) Please ignore the original images used for inspiration -- for example, if Kyle hears the words "Mr. Blobby", he will disqualify the song from receiving any votes.
f.) You must follow the community rules as outlined on Discord and Twitch.
Track Specific Guidelines
Please add 1-2 seconds of silence on each end of the track. Community member and overall great person Blepasaur created an amazing Concept Album Mastering Guide that reviews best practices around volume mastering. Give it a gander!
